Dear All

Today we have announced the exciting news that Keys and Accomplish Group are combining together to form one organisation. Throughout the course of the day, we have tried to cascade the news to as many people across the organisation as possible, both in person and remotely. We are also writing to ensure everyone is kept as fully informed as possible about the change.

So who are Accomplish and why are we combining?

Accomplish has been providing specialist care and support for people with autism, mental health needs, learning disabilities and acquired brain injuries for more than 25 years. They operate throughout England and South Wales from 115 residential and supported living settings. Accomplish and Keys are both owned by G Square.

Bringing these two Groups together will see us, as a combined organisation, provide care, support and education for more than 2,000 children, young people, families and adults across more than 250 homes, schools, supported living settings and specialist services.

We are combining because we believe this will provide even greater opportunities for all colleagues across the larger organisation, support for our own adult day centre and an easier pathway into adult services where it is the right thing for our young people. It will provide additional expertise that means we can provide the very best care, support and education possible every day whether directly or in a support role.

I will be leading the combined organisation. Mel Ramsey who is currently the CEO of Accomplish will be stepping away from her role but will continue as a non executive director on the combined board meaning that we will continue to benefit from her wealth of knowledge and experience.

I am sure there will be lots of questions which we will be looking to answer over the coming days, weeks and months. I also know that any change, even when positive, can sometimes make us feel anxious or unsure. If you have any questions, I’d be delighted to answer those. You can always reach me on asktheceo@keys-group.co.uk.

Thankyou for your ongoing support.

David Manson, CEO
